We are currently looking for a Service Designer - UX/UI Researcher to join the team in Delft .

Do you want to make a significant contribution by realising optimal digital customer experiences?

As a Service Designer, you will accelerate the digitazion and digital transformation of an educational centre. Focused on creating added value in existing and new digital customer experiences, and realising new tech and data solutions for the operational efficiency and distinctive capacity of this educational centre. For researchers, students, teachers, and staff. We do this in close collaboration with three Digital Leads in the domains of Education, Research & Innovation, and Operations, and with (senior) stakeholders in the Faculties and Services.

The rate for this position is € 85-90 per hour .

Service Designer - UX/UI Researcher

Main responsibilities

• You will lead service design/customer journey mapping and mining activities from the central digital transformation office (DTO).
• You will collaborate with different employees, to gain insight into their goals, needs, behaviours,…
• You will design and implement service design strategies and solutions that improve the efficiency of the services.
• You will carry out workshops, interviews, and user testing to gather insights.
• You will create user journeys, personas, and service blueprints to visualise complex processes and interactions.
• You will collect and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of realised service design initiatives and improve the process if necessary.

Requirements

• Educational background in service design, interaction design, business administration, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of proven experience in service design and associated methods and techniques, such as design thinking, user research, prototyping, and co-creation.
• Experience in large organizations with complex processes. Experience in an academic environment is a plus.
• Affinity with technological innovation and digital transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively work with diverse stakeholders at various levels.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English .
